How can I donate?
You can donate to support our work by visiting our donate page and selecting the appropriate option. We plan to have an online donation facility available soon.
What is my donation used for?
All donor money is used to support our research efforts, particularly in field research deployments to help further understand and improve the correction of vision in the developing world. The Centre has a commitment to not using any donor money to cover administrative costs - all donor money is used to support our research and deployments. Our administration is entirely supported by research grants.
Does the Centre do deployments of adjustable glasses?
As part of our research studies we will undertake small-scale deployments in the developing world.
Am I able to buy a pair of adjustable glasses?
The Centre does not manufacture or distribute adjustable glasses - at present the only available adjustable glasses are not available individually.
Am I able to donate to the Centre and receive a pair of adjustable glasses?
At present, as adjustable glasses are not available individually, we are unable to provide glasses in exchange for donations.
What conditions do the adjustable glasses treat?
Adjustable eyeglasses are designed only to work for the same conditions that normal eyeglasses work for. They do not prevent or reverse macular degeneration or any other ophthalmic condition beyond spherical refractive error (myopia and hyperopia).
